*Cam ADORES his grandparents' house, or I should say the outside of it. He spent the majority of the time roaming around their yard, playing with the dogs, and going for wagon rides. It hovered around 100 degrees most of the day, but that didn't seem to phase him (it sure phased us, however!!).

Early morning show of "The Sprinklers"...
*Friday Chris and I took off for an overnight without Cam. What did we do? Not a whole lot, which was the point. We rented a movie in our hotel room, went to a movie in the theater, shopped probably too much, and ate out. Perfect. Friday night we went out to dinner with some great friends, Matt and Jana. Every time we are with them, we comment on how we wished we lived closer to one another.
*It was such fun to see Cam with his grandparents. I wish he could see them more often, but there is nothing better than seeing your family dote on your little one!
*Our ride back home with Cam couldn't have gone more perfect. I think this was highlighted by the fact that our ride up could have gone a lot more perfect!!! Let's just say Cam was not in the road trip mood on our way up. Here is a pic of a nice distraction we found that took quite a chunk of time on the ride...a sucker, or in Cam's language, "suta".

sounds like a fun trip! my kids are still enamoured with the sprinklers! :) do you have a portable DVD player? might be a good investment.
Glad you had such a great time. I bet he DOES love their back yard--and dogs. Sounded cute that he played hide & seek with them--even though they were unaware the game was going on. :o)
