concerts

I've never been THAT into concerts. They are fun, but I've decided that unless I pretty much have front row seats and am VERY familiar with the artist, it just wouldn't be worth it to me. I've been to a few in my life:

Shania Twain:
Pretty good however we were REALLY far back
N 'Sync: Yes, laugh if you want, but this was actually quite a fun concert
Phil Collins: By far my favorite as he is my favorite
Third Day: This was before they were famous and was very good except we had to stand the whole time :(

I guess if I had to choose a concert right now, it would have to be some sort of country concert, as that is what I am mostly listening to. I really like Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, and Rascall Flatts. Not sure why I'm even thinking about concerts as we are about to enter the next phase of our lives that isn't exactly conducive to concert hopping!

Don't mock, but I'd love to go to a Wiggles concert/show (with the girls of course.) I think that would be super fun to be in a packed place with everyone dancing up a storm Wiggles-style. =)

We saw Coldplay a few months ago. It was the first concert we've been to in years and it was awesome!! A good concert to me does one of two things: reminds you of why you love the band OR deepens your immature love of the band. The latter happened with Coldplay. I mean, I liked them pre-concert, a lot. But i REALLY REALLY REALLY became a fan after the concert because they were so good, grateful, funny, and entertainng.

Curt just surprised me with U2 tickets in Oct!! :) :) :) Never seen them in concert before but I bet it will beat the heck out of Taylor Swift!! :)

Didn't want to spoil it, but we actually got Cam a Joel Osteen board game for his next birthday...

P.S. You guys need to check our blog for a follow up to the alpaca milking session.

Funny you should mention concerts. Today I asked the lady who does my nails (gosh, I feel so foo-foo saying that) what she would like to do for fun if she had the time and money. She said go to a Vietnamese country music concert. Yes, there IS such a thing!

Is tomorrow the big day??? Oh my goodness!! I will SOOO be praying for you guys!!

We LOVE concerts---the last one was probably the best...Mercy Me, Jeremy Camp, Addison Road, Tenth Avenue North and Hawk Nelson!

Went to N*sync as well WITH backstage passes (haha--no really I did!) and it was SO fun, I must say--that was about 9 years ago at Blockbuster...I wonder if we were at the same one?!

My first was NKOTB, Dino, and The Cover Girls--classic!

And Aerosmith--THAT was a GREAT concert--with Collective Soul!

Man, there are a lot of others--cna't believe I really have been to this many concerts!!

I would love to see Hillsong United and Rascall Flatts one of these days!

concerts are like the perfect date for Glen and I!! He loves to see me dance and sing for the Artist!!
I need to tell you about when we went to see Kenny Chesney last weekend. It was an outdoor venue and it a Texas thunderstorm came and we were all living it up in the storm until Kenny called it off!!
Now he rescheduled the concert for May 17th. How awesome is that? He didn't have to reschedule but did anyway!
It was soooo fun!!

You should totally go to one soon! After you have readjusted to being a mom of 2 of course!
