petting zoo
Lately I've noticed that whenever we see an animal, Kendall gets super excited. I thought it was a good time to take her to her first "zoo". I put that in quotes because we went to the petting zoo in Oak Glen, which is VERY small and not that exciting. But she loved seeing the animals and grunted/growled as they moved about. Cam had a great time too, mainly running around and chasing the peacocks. :)

Hooray for Oak Glen...such a quaint little place to have so close. There's something I want to buy at a shop there--let me know next time you go & you can pick it up.
Is kendall standing up in that picture?? how FUN that she loves animals and isn't afraid of them!! :) And YAY that you can take walks with her now too! I think its a good time for kids to just sit back and relax a bit--there's something soothing in it for Daniel. especially if he's eating a sugar free dum dum! :)
It looks like you guys had so much fun! Mia loves petting zoos too-big or small. I don't know if this would be feasible for you guys because it's far, but there is a place called Zoomars in San Juan Capistrano and they have a pen with guinea pigs, rabbits, goats and chickens that you can feed veggies too. They also have a train, pony rides, and a small play area. We just went for a bday party and Mia really enjoyed it!
